This 5 days course provides an overview of the focal project management concepts, principles and processes via lectures, interactive group sessions, practical exercises and discussions. It focuses on the system understanding of the project management processes and their present day applications.
The course includes an integrated case study and practical exercises designed to demonstrate the application of the taught techniques in the real business world. The case study provides a forum, which gives the ability to participants to exercise the different project stakeholders’ roles and to develop essential management deliverables, such as project charters, scope statements, project management plans, work breakdown structures, activity lists, duration estimates, network diagrams and risk analysis outputs.
The course is compliant with the Standard and Best Practice of the Project Management Institute (PMI®) and the current Project Management Body of Knowledge® (PMBoK® Guide – 4rd Edition, 2008).
